The legendary Brazilian vocal group – caught live on the Ensaio TV program! The performance is from much later years in the Golden Boys' history – far from the time of their 60s hits – but the vocals are still wonderful, and captured here with an intimacy that really lives up to the other recordings done on the famous show. There's a huge amount of tracks here – amazing how much these guys can get into the space of an hour – and some titles are English numbers, redone in a cool new Brazilian mode! Titles include "Little Darling", "Abertura", "Rua Augusta", "Quando", "E Papo Firme", "Te Amo", "Foi Assim", "Andanca", "Dois Pra La Dois Pra Ca", "Fumace", "Marcianita", "O Ritmo Da Chuva", and "Samba".

A full performance from the 2011 Wels Festival curated by Peter Brotzmann – starring his crucial Chicago Tentet – a modern-day supergroup of giants of avant jazz! The lineup features saxes from Brotzmann, Ken Vandermark, and Mats Gustafsson – plus trumpet from Joe McPhee, trombone from Johannes Bauer and Jeb Bishop, tuba from Per Ake Holmlander, cello and guitar from Fred Lonberg-Holm, bass from Kent Kessler, drums from Paal Nilssen-Love and Michael Zerang – and guest work on trumpet from Toshinori Kondo, koto from Michiyo Yagi, guitar from Yoshihide Otomo, and reeds from Akira Sakata! These added Japanese players really help expand the sound – and memorialize the tragedy at Fukushima, to which the show was dedicated – and part of the proceeds for the DVD will go. Performance is 105 minutes, in color, with special bonus interview material.

Rare TV footage from the legendary Al Green – a full live performance photographed in very vivid color! There's no dates or notes at all on the set (damn!), but given the look of Al's plaid leisure suit in the performance, we're guessing the show's right from somewhere in his mid-70s high point – a speculation that's also supported by the great choice of songs in the set! The whole show features nine songs in all, plus some nice spoken bits by Green – and titles include "I'm So Tired Of Being Alone", "Love & Happiness", "Let's Stay Together", "Still In Love With You", "Look What You Done For Me", and "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart".
