New MF DoomHoe Cakes (clean, dirty, ant rmx dirty, ant rmx inst, inst)/Potholderz (clean, dirty, inst) ... 12-inch
Rhymesayers, 2004. Near Mint- (pic cover)... $11.99
A great single from Metal Fingerz' kitchen – featuring two tracks from the MM Food LP, Doom's second best of the 705 albums he released in 2004. "Hoe Cakes" is nothing short of masterful – a great sci fi/story song about a girl who wants to get duked, black Wookies, and a guy tragically disfigured in an S-Curl accident. Doom's thumpin' and poppin' production is top notch, just as Rhymesayers labelmate Ant's is on the flip. "Potholders" is another gem, featuring a rhyme and production by Count Bass D. 12-inch, Vinyl record
(Pink vinyl pressing.)

CopperpotChapter 7 Verse 2 – Out In The Bunker (voc, inst)/What Dreams Are Made Of/You Know My Name (voc, inst)/Joe Mama (inst) ... 12-inch
EV Productions, 2003. Sealed (pic cover)... $3.99
Another strong single from the Chicago area scene! Tracks produced by Copperpot, with guest rhymers Braintax on "Out The Bunker", Longshot, Diverse and Profound on "What Dreams Are Made Of", and Profound again on "You Know The Name". The tracks have a bit of a Rhymesayers kind of vibe, with crisp chiming beats, thumping bass and resonating vocals. 12-inch, Vinyl record
