RaekwonImmobilarity ... LP
Wu-Tang/Loud, 1999. Near Mint- 2LP .... $7.99
The second solo album by The Chef – a record that had hard time finding space outside the massive shadow of his first solo landmark Only Built 4 Cuban Linx – and like other Wu Tang solo albums of the era, there's a number of gems on here that really never had a chance to get over a bar set set so high. Titles include "Yae Yo", "Casablanca", the Pete Rock produced near classic "Sneakers", "Raw", "Pop S**t", My Favorite Dred", "Live From New York", "100 Rounds", "Power", and "Forecast".
(Cover has a cut corner.)

Loud/RCA/Get On Down, 1995. New Copy 2LP .... $26.99
Chef Raekwon cooks up one of finest hip hop albums in history – a standout moment in the Wu Tang canon and the 90s in general! Given Ghostface's presence throughout, the prime RZA production and other top shelf guests, you could almost call this one a Wu Tang Clan album, if not for Raekwon's incredible leadership behind the mic. Guests include Nas, Method Man, Inspektah Deck and more from the Wu Tang family. An absolute standard-bearer! Titles include "Spot Rusherz", "Can It Be All So Simple", "Knuckleheadz", "Criminology", "Ice Water", "Wisdom Body", and "Wu-Gambinos". This great 2LP remastered 2012 vinyl reissue also includes the bonus "North Star (Jewels)".

Ghostface Killah — Supreme Clientele (remastered 2LP vinyl with poster) ... LP
Epic/Get On Down, 2000. New Copy 2LP Gatefold (reissue).... $19.99
Ghostface's second full length – maybe the most worthwhile Wu solo project, and the best of all them since the first wave of the Wu. Ghost's flow is raw as hell, furious and re-energized, and so startlingly poetic that we were completely blown away. The guests seem to feed off this huge energy boom, too, with Method Man and Cappadona getting their best verses in a while, and even RZA's misguided Bobby Digital persona kicks some raw dynamite. Also features appearances by Raekwon and Redman, plus a few tracks with beats by the RZA. Tracks include "Nutmeg", "Saturday Nite", "Apollo Kids", "The Grain", "Child's Play", "Malcolm", "Buck 50", and "Cherchez La Ghost".
(Remastered double vinyl version of one the best ever Wu Tang solo sets. Includes poster.)

Outkast — Aquemini ... CD
LaFace, 1998. Used .... $4.99
Still the Atlanta duo's high water mark – and yes, we did love Stankonia. Relentless hype, Grammys, and the Village Voice be damned! Tracks include "Rosa Parks", "Skew It On The Bar-B" featuring Raekwon, "Aquemini", "Synthesizer" featuring George Clinton, "Mamacita", and "Liberation" featuring Cee-Lo. 16 tracks total.

RZA — Man With The Iron Fists ... LP
2012. New Copy .... 17.99 Late June, 2013
The best music in years from RZA – the man who introduced styliized martial arts soundtrack funk to hardcore hip hop – and the soundtrack to his own damn stylized martial arts film, The Man With The Iron Fists! Musically, it's top notch! RZA's wise enough to contemporize his tried-and-true style rather than revisit it – with swelling soul strings and a crisper sound than the dusty Shaw Bros-sampling Wu Tang sound of past endeavors –and he's joined by a diverse roster of guests that includes Ghostface, Raekwon and other Wu veterans, Kanye, MOP, Pharoahe Monch, The Black Keys, Corrine Bailey Rae, Danny Brown and many more! Includes "The Baddest Man Alive" with The Black Keys, "Black Out" with Ghostface, MOP & Pharoahe Monch, "White Dress" with Kanye West, "Rivers Of Blood" with Wu Tang Clan and Kool G Rap, "Chains" with Corrine Bailey Rae, "The Archer" with Killa Sin, "Just Blowin' In The Wind" with RZA and Flatbush Zombies, "Your Good Thing Is About To End" by Mable John, "Built For This" with Method Man, Freddie Gibbs & Streetlife" and more.

Includes "Dream Shatterer", "I'm Not A Player", "You Came Up", "Fast Money", "Tres Leches", "Glamour Life" and "Super Lyrical".

new J Dilla — Jay Stay Paid ... CD
Nature Sounds, 2009. New Copy .... $12.99 16.98 Temporarily Out Of Stock
An excellent full length set of beats & genius from J Dilla – put together by fellow beatmaker extraordinaire Pete Rock, with all Dilla beats – a surprising triumph! Call us jaded, but honestly, we weren't sure how deep the well could go of ready-to-go beats from Dilla, but this stuff is truly top shelf – nearly as strong as the instant classic Donuts from a few years back! Pete Rock crafts the set as if it's a radio show or mixtape, but his skill in so doing is well above and beyond the norm – neither Pete's interjections nor the guest rappers ever get in the way of the flow, it's as smooth as can be. Vocal guests include Ma Dukes (the album was made under Ma's auspices), plus Lil Fame & MOP, Black Thought, Frank Nitty of Frank N Dank, Doom, Illa J & Cue D, Blu, and others. Titles include "King", "I Told Yall", "Smoke" feat Blu, "CaDILLAc". "Fire Wood Drumstix" feat Doom, "Big Day", "24K Rap" feat Havoc of Mobb Deep & Raekwon, "Coming Back", "Mythsysizer" and more. 28 tracks in all, about an hour of unreleased Dilla!

new Various — Hip Hop Forever 2 – Mixed By DJ Jazzy Jeff ... CD
Rapster/BBE (UK), 2004. Used .... $6.99 Out Of Stock
A mammoth set by Jazzy Jeff – a tough mix of some of the biggest and some of the deepest true hip hop tracks from the early 90s through '03! Jazz does a terrific job of pickin' the tightest cuts, period – whether they were huge hits that reputations were built on like Cypress Hill's "How I Could Just Kill A Man", Tribe Called Quest's "Electric Relaxation", Beatnuts "Watch Out Now" or Pharcyde's "Drop", underground phenomena like I.N.I.'s "Square One", Wildchild's "Party Up" or Jaylib's "Official", or simply tried-and-true one shot classics like Blackmoon's "How Many Mcee's" or O.C.'s "Time's Up". Other tracks include Nas's incredible return-to-form triumph "Made You Look", Asheru's "Mood Swing", J-Live's "Braggin' Writes", Raekwon's "Ice Cream", Main Source's "Live At The Bar-B-Q" and more – all scratched up, beaten down, extended, edited or simply perfectly placed by the Jazzy Jeff!
