Beautiful harmony soul! Skip and the Casuals were one of the great lost groups of the 70s – and they had a classic style that was very much in keeping with groups like Soul Generation or The Whatnauts. The band hailed from Washington DC, making them one of the southernmost
outposts of the east coast harmony scene – but their overall feel is pure New Jersey or Philly group soul of the time. This album is their second, and has the group singing in a style that's even tighter and stronger than their first – working with some great arrangements by James Purdie, which include some nice use of vibes by the legendary Hilton Felton! Tracks include "Land Of Love", "Bless My Soul", "I Love You", "Running Away From Love", and "This is My Last Time".
