Ultra-cool guitar work from 60s Brazil – a stone classic by a combo who get better and better with each new release! This gem from 1967 really has The Pops hitting their stride on guitar – opening up with lines as deft as The Ventures or Surfaris, but often tuned towards a different sort of aesthetic overall – one that's sometimes dark and moody, thanks to the organ burning away in the background – and which is more concerned with the overall feel of the tunes, rather than blowing anyone away with a solo. Yet that doesn't mean that the guitar's not mighty darn fine, because it is – and really rivals the best group of this sort from the west coast – especially on some of the unique medley tracks. Titles include "As 7 Maravilhas No 3", "Driving Guitars", "Noturno De Chopin", "Andalucia", "Caravan", "Recordando Boleros", "Munsters Theme", and "Meu Coracao A Ti Pertence".

The classic first volume in this series, put together back in the 80's, when loads of hip hop tracks were sampling things like "Inspector Gadget" and "Batman". Still classic now, though, and with loads of material, like The Flintsones, Batman, Lost In Space, Star Trek, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Green Acres, Mr. Ed, The Munsters, Popeye, Felix the Cat, Ironside, Mannix, The Man From UNCLE, Mission Impossible, and lots lots more!
