An unearthed treasure of ethereal chamber folk and light psychedelia from Chicagoan Stephen Titra and some impeccable studio musicians – beautifully well produced, but until now only ever appeared as a test pressing! OWL, or Of Wondrous Legends, has a quiet baroque feel to it, and there's lots of great stuff going on in it – open-ended spirituality in both the mood and lyricism, vocals that are a bit like a more introverted Tim Buckley, lilting acoustic guitar and strings, vibes, bells and hand percussion. It's really far too good to not have been officially released at the time, but that's the way of the world! Rescued from a dusty thrift store in Chicago and set free by our friends at
Locust! Titles include "Legends", "Be Alive", "Midnight Carnival", "Upon The Wings Of Gabriel", "Breton Landscape", "Peace Of Mind", "Salvation Song", "Sunsets Of Smiles" and more.
