A bit later than classic vintage for Slave – although most of the group's best elements are still in place! The combo's down to a quartet by this point – one that relies a bit more than before on electric percussion for their rhythms – but the overall focused Slave sound is still hitting hard, with an updated approach to funk that's lean, mean, and heavy! The overall vibe is more party funk than anything else – but we can also appreciate that fact too, as it keeps the album moving straight ahead – and makes for a fair bit of catchy numbers on the set. Titles include "Holiday", "I Like Your Style", "Lonely Girls", "Juicy-O", "Chillin", and "You Take My Breath Away".
