"Walking In Rhythm" was probably the biggest hit ever for this seminal 70s funk group. The cut's got a hook you'd recognize in a minute, and was played to death on AM Radio. However, we're more partial to "The Baby" – a great little funk track with some nice effects, and some very tasty production by Donald Byrd! 7-inch, Vinyl record
For our money, Side Effect's version of "Same Old Feeling" is still the best. It's got some great vocal harmonies, and the jazzy stepping groove comes in just right! "Life Is What You Make It" is no slouch either, with a pumping bottom heavy funk boogie vibe keeping the track plugging along! 7-inch, Vinyl record
2 excellent tracks from Johnny's mellow mid 70s soul period! "It's Too Late" has a beautiful mellow groove, and a riff that's ripped right off of Jon Lucien's Rashida album – sliding along with Johnny's vocals stepping next to guitar, under strings, and sounding super-super-dope! "Tripping" has a nice spacey feel, with cool electric keyboards, and a bit of a Shuggie Otis sound. 7-inch, Vinyl record
