Though the Gladiators had done work under Coxsonne Dodd and Lee Perry, their work with producer Tony Robinson is definitely among our favorites. Albert Griffiths and crew delivered a number of crucial sides with him, and this one, recorded right around the time of their burning Trenchtown Mix Up set is loaded down with heavy roots rock, chubby bottom-heavy grooves blessed with sweet harmonies and crisp production.
