Ghostface Killah & Adrian YoungeTwelve Reasons To Die (deluxe 2CD edition – with instrumentals) ... CD
Soul Temple, 2013. New Copy 2 CDs .... $16.99 17.98
Ghostface Killah and Adrian Younge team up for this intriguing collaboration – one with a promising concept and they deliver on it in full – shadowboxing their way to a knockout! On the mic tip, Ghostface is in his comfort zone here – spitting lyrics laced with martial arts, mafia and supernatural imagery – and doing so with a furious flow and peak precision. Adrian Younge and his Venice Dawn group lay down the sounds – with dusty soul and funk, naturally – but what really pushes this one to a superior level are the unpredictable and ingenious nods to 70s Italian film scores, particularly in the giallo genre. Spooky, echoey keyboards and occasional angelic female backing vocals elevate the vibe and balance the grit. 12 tracks and no filler: "Beware The Stare", "Rise Of The Black Suits", "I Declare War" with Masta Killa, "Blood On The Cobblestones" with U-God & Inspectah Deck, "Rise Of The Ghostface Killah", "Murder Spree" with U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck and Killa Sin, "Enemies Around Me" with William Hart of the Delfonics, "The Sure Shot (Parts 1 And 2)", "Twelve Reasons To Die" and more. 2CD deluxe edition includes the full instrumentals on disc 2!

Ghostface Killah & Adrian YoungeTwelve Reasons To Die (instrumentals) ... LP
Soul Temple, 2013. New Copy .... $18.99 19.98
Ghostface Killah and Adrian Younge team up for this most intriguing artist and producer/composer collaboration – one with a promising concept and they deliver in full – shadowboxing their way to a knockout! The instrumentals version is even more explicit in it's debt to giallo – with all titles translated to Italian: "Attenzione Al Stare", "L'Aumento Dell'Abito Nero", "Dichiaro Guerra", "Sangue Sull'Acciottolato", "Una Chiamata Inattesa", "Il Corpo Sicuro", "Dodici Ragioni Per Morire" and more.
(Nice sleeve with different artwork with title & tracks listed in Italian.)

new Adrian Younge presents Venice DawnTurn Down The Sound/1969 Organ ... 7-inch
Kindred Spirits (Netherlands), 2012. New Copy .... $9.99 Out Of Stock
Super-dope sounds from Venice Dawn – a sweet 7" single that packs the punch of their much longer releases! "Turn Down The Sound" is a wicked harmony soul cut, but one that's laced with lots of psychedelic elements – including the production – and set to these slow funk rhythms that are really outta sight! "1969 Organ" is a tune that really lives up to its title – another trippy track that's built around a breakbeat with spacey elements – and a cool Yes-like organ line in the middle!
