An amazing sonic portrait of the modern city – one created on the early 70s Italian scene, but lost to the shifting sands of time, due to its release as a sound library-only album! We've heard Maria Teresa Luciani on a few other records of this nature – but this one may well be her greatest – music that's beyond categorization in the way it presents its subject – not really jazz or soundtrack styles at all, but also not some sort of too-modern compositional idiom either. Instead, the whole thing seems to make some sort of honest, organic sense – as it presents differing aspects of the city, both residential and commercial, public and private – often with a sense of darkness in the immediate approach, but also with a current of hope at times too. Titles include "Public Gardens", "Modern Residential Complex", "Supermarket", "Poor Neighborhoods", "Power Station", "Traffic", and "International Airport". LP, Vinyl record album
A sweet psychedelic set, but one with very mysterious origins – originally recorded as a sound library session, by a group that was really the better-known Nuova Idea! The album's definitely got a vibe that fits its sound library roots – all instrumental, with a bit less bravado than most psyche albums of this type – almost more of a focus on the rhythms, which stretch out strongly amidst the Hammond and guitar solos on the set. The whole thing's still pretty rockish, but also has a deeper sensitivity to the overall sound too – a quality that's partly due to production efforts of Giampiero Reverberi. Titles include "Easy", "Psycheground", "Traffic", "Ray", and "Tube". (Rock, Sound Library)CD
The first-ever collection to look at the lost sound library work of Ezy Minus – born Enzo Minuti, and a very self-contained talent who worked out of his own Studio 67 on the scene in Bologna! There's a scope of material here that's really great, and a bit different than some more familiar sound library music – definitely some of the funk you'd hope for, but also some more song-based moments, and plenty of jazzy currents that definitely will have us digging for more of Ezy's work in years to come! Titles include "The Island Of Secrets", "Nuvole Che Passano", "Discoteca", "Arapuru", "Tropical Dream", "Opening", "Southern Traffic", "Vocal Blues", "Situazione", and "Afro Vocal". LP, Vinyl record album

A record that nicely combines the two different sound library sides Egisto Macchi – his scene setting ability with a lovely melody, and his deeper darker experiments on the further reaches of sound! The album's got a cover that belies its complexity – and within, you'll definitely hear Eastern melodies and instrumentation that echo the title – but mixed with some more complicated sonic elements that make the whole thing very different than just another travelogue-styled recording! Macchi has this amazing way of bringing out all these moody tones, even when things are tuneful – and the album's got this sense of complexity that's wonderful, even when the tunes seem to come across as more straightforward. Titles include "Luci Dei Traffico", "Ceylon", "La Citta Sacra", "Il Budda", "Corsa Nella Giungla", "Pescatori Di Ceylon", and "Raccolta Del The". LP, Vinyl record album
