An excellent compilation of funky 70s cop show themes put together with a very cool cover and a great selection of groovy tunes! There's lots of wah wah guitar, driving rhythms, funky flute, and cool keyboards – and the overall sound is tops if you dig crime/cop material from the 70s! A few cuts have appeared on other compilations over the years, but there's plenty of new bits, and the package is one of the nicest that Plastic Records has ever done. Artists include Riz Ortolani, Francesco De Masi, Franco Micallizzi, Guido & Maurizio De Angelis, and Pulsar – and titles include "The Blue Boat", "The Stranger Lady", "The Other Face", "New Special Squad", "Incessante", "Running Against The Time", "You'll Kill Her", "Il Libanese", "Time On My Hands", and "Hong Kong Promenade". 16 cuts in all!

The Easy Tempo groove is wider than ever here – still plenty funky, but also jazzy and groovy too – with some mod 60s influences filtering into the mix, and even a bit of vocals too! As always, the style is heavy on Italian soundtrack modes – that great blend of bossa, jazz, and other elements that graced so many cinematic excursions of the period – and which have been beautifully re-presented by Easy Tempo over the course of their excellent series.
