An obscure 70s gem from Aldemaro Romero
and his Onda Nueva – very much in the mode of his best 60s work, but with a warmer, smoother 70s sort of feel! The album features Aldemaro
on electric piano and organ – and the grooves all have a lightly skipping feel that's a bit bossa, a bit Italian soundtrack, and all groovy all the way! Lyrics are in Spanish this time around, but the lovely presentation of the material gets past any language barrier at all. Titles include "De Repente", "Toma Lo Que TE Ofreci", "De Polo A Polo", "Maracucha", "Cimarron", and "La Caracola".
(Venezuelan pressing from the 70s. Side 2 has a mark that clicks a bit on track one. Cover has light wear, some small light stains, a small split on the bottom seam, a bit of rippling along the opening, and a bit of peeling on the back in one corner.)
