Classic Latin club from this New York combo! "Sunny" is done here in a nice jazzy Latin style – warm, mellow, with that early Joe Bataaan Salsoul style firmly in place! There's some electricity in the arrangements, female voices on the chorus, and nice use of wah wah guitar under the horns! "Hippopatamus" is great too – very warm and jazzy – with snapping timbales at the start, which are then quickly filled in by some fuller jazzy instrumentation – all moving along with a groove that's pretty darn sunny too!
