A damn great little record from Zo – one that has him stepping forward brilliantly from his previous series of self-released records – moving into really heavyweight territory with the Foreign Exchange team, on a set that features guest vocals from Phonte, Sy Smith, Lady Alma, Yazarah, Eric Roberson, and others! The album's an amazing extension of the Detroit cosmic soul that Zo's always done so well – taken into even tighter, more professional territory – yet all without ever sounding slick or commercial! We've always loved Zo – and this album's like a great reward for all our faith in his music – like being right there at the start of something special – and trust us, the album's definitely something special.
