An instant classic from the moment it was first released – and still pretty darn pleasing these days! D'Angelo's first album, and a sweetly crafted batch of songs that have a strong "return to the classic sound" vibe to them. Cuts include "Smooth", "Me & Those Dreamin Eyes Of Mine", "Brown Sugar", "Alright", and "Jonz In My Bonz".

A nice little second set from Javier – funky, chunky, and with a stripped-down sound that's mighty nice! The record avoids the sometimes sophmore tendencies to pack things up a bit more than before – and Javier's held onto all of the charm that made his first record so nice, and most of the tracks here have a sharp focus on the vocals, and avoid any too-showy studio tricks (save, perhaps, for an unfortunate reggaeton remix of the last track!) Titles include "Dance For Me", "Poetry", "Count On Me", "You're The One", "Indecent Proposal", "Lovin U", "Ways I'm Feelin U", and "Is This Love".
