Fat Joe Da Gangsta — Represent ... LP
Relativity, 1993. New Copy (reissue).... $7.99 9.98
Fat Joe's first LP – a very strong slice of east coast early 90s gangsta that's way stronger than the 14-year-olds who listened to Joe in the 00s will probably ever know. Foreign Exchange — Dear Friends: An Evening With The Foreign Exchange (CD & DVD) ... CD
Foreign Exchange, 2011. Used CD & DVD .... $15.99
A double disc CD & DVD package showcasing one of our favorite souful acts on the contemporary landscape – Nicolay & Phonte's brilliant and ever-evolving Foreign Exchange project! Dear Friends showcases an acoustic concert performed for a private audience –- the great touring lineup that includes Zo!, Sy Smith, and singer/songwriter Jeanne Jolly. From the get go, we've been impressed by both the original songwriting from Foreign Exchange as well as the way they filter diverse influences into their own unique vibe – and this acoustic setting really gets to the heart and soul of it. This is an essential document for fans of the group, but it's also a fine intro if you're just now coming aboard! The live set includes "Fight For Love", "All Roads", "Take Off The Blues", "Lose Your Way", "Greatest Weapon Of All Time", a nice cover of James Taylor's "Something In The Way She Moves", "Laughing At Your Plans", "Daykeeper", "House Of Cards", Zo!'s "Greatest Weapon Of All Time" and "I Wanna Know". Also includes 2 new studio tracks: "Steal Away" feat vocals by Jeanny Jolly and piano by Zo! and "All The Kisses" feat Amber & Paris Strother of KING.

Two Kings In A Cipher — Kings Are People too! (fat one rmx, sly one rmx)/Movin On Em (the resurrection) ... 12-inch
Bahia, 1991. Near Mint- .... $0.99
The most notable thing about this single is that Two Kings in A Cipher were Ron Lawrence (know then as Amen Ra) and D Dot Agellettie (known then as D.O.P) who later went on to produce lots of Puffy's hits. And of course, D Dot Angelettie is now better know as The Mad Rapper. "Movin On 'Em" was a minor hit with a second-rate vocal style trying to immitate Rakim and King Sun, in both delivery and 5-Percenter subjects.

new MF Doom — MM Food ... LP
Rhymesayers, 2004/2007. New Copy 2LP (reissue).... $14.99 Out Of Stock
The bugged sci fi maestro MF Doom's mid 00s masterpiece – tied up and unavailable for a couple years – and a straight up tie with Madvilliany for the championship title of best Doom-related LP since his immortal debut! As you'd guess from the title, this album has a running theme with food, each title funnier than the last, but stays fresh throughout the 15 tracks thanks to tight production, masterfully spliced samples, and a verbal flow that's cooked and spiced to some kind of freakish perfection. The great "Hoe Cakes" single gets served early in set, and it sets the tone for a truly strong album. "Boss like King Koopa. . .". Includes "Beef Rap", "Potholderz" with Count Bass D, "One Beer" produced by Madlib, "Poo Poo Platter", "Fillet-O-Rapper", "Gumbo", "Fig Leaf Bi Carbonate", "Kon Queso" produced by PNS, "Vomitspit", "Kookies" and more.
