Righteous, renegade hip hop from Capital D – a singular effort full of forceful, focused, stark and angry hip hop like they just don't make anymore. Cap D is clearly fed up with the status quo (in the hip hop scene and in the greater culture), and delivers these cuts accordingly. It's a strong set – very tight, and very well conceived for a full length listen. We're putting it on the short list of the best Chicago hip hop of '04. It's certainly one of the most focused and original sets we've heard in a while. You don't hear many lines like "I pump Akbar, sit & study prophecies/
read Franz Kafka make my metamorphoses". Tracks include "The Awakening", "Start The Revolution", "Live On Arrival", "Miss America
", "Culture Of Terrorism", "Vent", "Toy Soldiers", "U Still Ain't Ready", "Renegades", "Enough Already", "1984", "Transformations", "Iman" and more.
