Various -- Bring Flowers To The World -- 20 Ultra Cool Transworld Popsike Gems 1967 to 1972 ... CD
Misty Lane (Italy), Late 60s/Early 70s. New Copy .... $9.99
Tripped out pop from around the globe -- a host of wonderful tunes from Germany, Greece, Holland, Nigeria, England, and Italy -- most of which feature lyrics in English, and a sound that's right up there with the best of the American popsike underground of the late 60s! As with the US volume of this set, the styles here are totally great -- psyche-influenced pop at the core, but often carried off with some unique instrumental flourishes -- little touches, twists, and turns that often give way to some funkier rhythms at the bottom of the tunes -- almost giving a Cherrystones sort of groove to the package. Tracks include "Madman" by Daltons, "Where Is My Mind" by Pesky Gee, "It's A Summer Day" by Magic Cycle, "Every Second Day" by Bobby & Laurie, "No Part Of It" by Boots, "Loverock" by Strangers, "Try To Realize" by Rob Hoeke R&B Groep, "When I See Babette" by Hunters, "Groovy Things" by Magic Cycle, and "Morning Of The Velvet Fog" by Young Enterprise.
(Limited edition of 500 copies.)

new Various -- B-Music -- Drive In, Turn On, Freak Out ... CD
B- Music (UK), Late 60s/Early 70s. New Copy .... $15.99 Temporarily Out Of Stock
Funky psychedelia and multicultural cosmic grooves -- late 60s & early 70s discoveries collected and put together by a team of some of the deepest diggers of boundary busting pulpy material out there --the vital B-Music/Finders Keepers team! Here they've delivered one of our favorite B- compilations yet, really a mindblowing set of tunes. The sounds are far flung and from all over the world -- but they share a common trait in that no matter how far out a tune might be, they all have a furious core groove. Wild cinematic soundtrack bits, spacey early prog, freaky folk, buzzing guitar jams, spiraling keyboard and hard driving funk tunes of all kinds -- obscure stuff from Turkey, China, France, Europe, Japan, Poland, and the wilds of the UK & US scenes -- amazing stuff all around! Nearly half of these nuggets were selected by B- resident geniuses Andy Votel and Dom Thomas, and the others chosen by influential guest DJ, producers & tastemakers including David Holmes, Lee Janda, Cherrystones, Chris McBride & others. 21 tracks in all: "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" by The Melodians, "Be Quite" (sic) by Jean Jacques Dexter, "Green Mountain, Jade Valley" by Cheung Kam Chun, "Arkham" by Spectre, "Bebek" by Sevil & Ayla, "Caballo Salvaje" by Unidades, "Fire" by Pegasus, "South Indian Line" by Jan Jankeje, "Guerra E Pace, Pollo E Brace" by Ennio Morricone, and more, plus the bonus track "Mera Mehbob Hai" by Nahid Akhtar.

new Various -- B-Music -- Cross Continental Record Raid Road Trip -- 18 Mind-Blowing Vintage Vinyl Discoveries From Around The Psychedelic Globe ... LP
Finders Keepers (UK), 1960s/1970s. New Copy 2LP Gatefold .... $21.99 Out Of Stock
Some of the best minds in the crate-digging business team up for this mindblowing selection of underground grooves -- the B-Music duo of Andy Votel and Dom Thomas, plus a host of guest curators who include David Holmes, Cherrystones, and Jazzman Gerald! The work here is similar to that on the excellent full length B-Music reissues -- funky psychedelia from years past, most of it of non-American origin -- the kinds of records you could never hope to find easily in the racks on this side of the border, all brought together brilliantly by this wildly creative team! There's plenty of fuzz, heavy beats, and tripped-out instrumentation throughout -- and the package features a whopping 18 obscure cuts that include "Yekte" by Zafer Dilek, "Tontos" by Billy Bond, "Baad Schandau" by AE Bizottsag, "Roadrunner" by Paul Kass, "Water World" by Sam Spance, "Sulla Neve Con Te" by Carmen Andaloro, "For You" by The Stylers, "World Is A Ghetto" by Amral's Trinidad Cavaliers Steel Drum Orchestra, "Air" by Onyx, "Gwr Bonheddig" by Chwys, "Wydicombe Fair" by Nashville Teens, and "Da Klagar Mina Grannar" by Charlie & Edsor.
