These rare recordings blend cultural styles wonderfully, Latin, American and Caribbean, with touches of Latin funk, rawer tropical sounds, bilingual calypsos, guajira jazz and more -- and this being a Soundway release, the booklet and notes are top notch, with notes on each track and filled with photos. Quite possible the best set in the series!
